DESCRIPTION
Zagreb tram opened in 1891 (initial horse tram) and it was electrified in 1910. Tram network was extended in 1892, 1911, 1924, 1926, 1928, 1931, 1933, 1935-1936, 1942, 1945-1950, 1961-1963, 1979, 1985, 1987, 1990 and 2000; some routes were closed in 1926, 1931, 1954 and 1971.
The current network consists in 15 regular lines.
