DESCRIPTION
Freiburg electric tram opened in 1901 and from that date it has been continuosly in service. The tram system was constantly extended; last extensions opened in 1983, 1985, 1994, 1997, 2002, 2004, 2006 and 2014.
The current network consists in 5 lines.
