DESCRIPTION Craiova tram opened in 1987; its track runs from Thermocentrala (thermic power station, north-western terminal) to the former Oltcit (now Daewoo) car factory (south-eastern terminal). The tram is articulated in 3 routes (Line 100: PECO Severinului-Pasaj Electroputere, Line 101: CLF-Daewoo, Line 102: TERMO-Daewoo); it connects the city centre (serving Universitate, Piata Centrala and Institut) to important peripheral industrial areas located at both terminals.
