DESCRIPTION
Gelsenkirchen tram (opened in 1895) and Bochum (opened in 1894) tram systems form a single network, that was constantly extended (in 1897-1898, 1901-1902, 1905, 1908-1909, 1911, 1913-1914, 1950, 1984, 1989, 1993-1994 and 2006).
The current network consists in 7 lines.
