DESCRIPTION
Cottbus electric tram opened in 1893 and from that date it has been continuosly in service; its more recent extensions were completed in 1977 (Hufelandstrasse-Sachsendorf) and 1984 (Bonnaskenplatz-Neu Schmellwitzand).
The current tram network consists in 4 lines.
