DESCRIPTION
Krefeld tram opened in 1883 (initial horse tram); it was electrified in 1901. The last tram network extension was completed in 1982 (Bockumer Platz-Elfrather Muhle); Oberschlesienstrasse-Tackheide section was closed in 2013.
The current tram network includes 4 lines.
