DESCRIPTION
Szeged tram opened in 1884 (initial horse tram) and it was electrified in 1908. Tram was also operated for freight traffic (initially using steam cars) until 1971. The network was extended in 1908 (Tarjan-Vadaspark; Tarjan-Fonogyari ut; Tarjan-Kecskes) and 2012 (Szeged palyaudvar-Europa liget).
The current network consists in 5 lines.
