DESCRIPTION
The first Munich tram line opened in 1876 (horse tram); tram was totally electrified in 1891. The latest tram extensions were completed in 2009, 2011, 2012, 2013 and 2016; the current network consists in 13 lines (2/3 of its length is in separate right-of-way).
