DESCRIPTION
Gera electric tram opened in 1892; from that date the tram was continuously in service. During the years the tram network had many changements, with track extensions (1925, 1935, 1956, 1959, 1972, 1979, 1989, 2002) and some route closures (1930, 1968, 1970).
The current network consists in 3 lines.
