DESCRIPTION Birkenhead historical tram line (1901) was partly re-opened in 1995, 58 years after the official closure of the system (1937); its short track runs from Woodside Ferry terminal to Old Colonial pub (Taylor Street).
Rolling stop has been built in 1992 in Hong Kong, with 1948 original shapes and colors; there's also an original vehicle recovered (Birkenhead No.20, built in 1900). An old horse tram is exposed at Woodside Ferry terminal.
