DESCRIPTION
Rostock tram opened in 1881 and it was electrified in 1904. Tram was extended in 1936, 1948, 1961, 1990, 2000-2001, 2003 and 2006.
The current tram network consists in 6 lines; all routes are mostly on a separate right-of-way, with few on roadway sections.
