DESCRIPTION Warsaw first metro line (Line 1) opened in 1995 (Kabaty-Politechnika) and it was extended in 1998, 2001, 2003, 2005 and 2008; Line 1 currently runs from Mlociny (north) to Kabaty (south). Its north-south track (running in the western side of River Wista) interchanges with the railways network at Swietokrzyska (close to Srodmescie PKP railway station) and Dworzec Gdanski stops.
Line 2 opened in 2015 (Rondo Daszynskiego-Dworzec Wilenski) running east-west; Line 2 interchanges with Line 1 at Swietokrzyska and it underpasses River Wista close to Swietokrzyska stop.
