DESCRIPTION
A new link between Terminals 1 (Gate A, Gate B) and 2 (Gates D/E) was realized at Frankfurt Airport, after the construction of a second airport terminal. This fully automated transport system adopts Bombardier CX-100 technology.
The 3.8 km track was opened in 1994 and it was expanded in 1996 in order to allow a future possible extension, which could involve Terminal 1 Gate C (interchanging with railways) and the future Terminal 3.
