DESCRIPTION
An automated people-mover is operating in London Gatwick Airport since 1987, replacing an earlier (1983) driverless people mover; the system has been completely renewed in 2010. The so-called Gatwick Rapid Transport connects the South terminal with the North Terminal, running along a ground level two-way track.
