DESCRIPTION
Minsk tram opened in 1892 (initial horse tram) and it was totally electrified in 1929. The main extensions were completed in 1909, 1928-1929 and 1934. The tram service was suspended during 1918-1921 (due to October Revolution) and 1941-1943 (due to world war II).
The current tram network consists in 7 lines.
